Pony Finals 2008 - GOLD

We just returned from Lexington, KY for the Pony Jumper National Championships. Our team from Zone 7 won the GOLD Medal!! It was really a good feeling seeing a gold medal placed around your child's neck. It made all the hard work and money spent well worth it.

Jacob and American Hero were 4th place in the individual competition. That is 4th in the NATION!!!! We were very proud to say the least.

Jacob and Hero have been together for 7 years. American Hero is a wonderful medium chestnut pony that really enjoys his job. He and Jacob make a great match.

We all owe special thanks to Granny and Poppa. We definitely could not have been there without them. Also thanks to Mandy Lockett, Jacob's trainer. He has been with Mandy only 1 1/2 years. She has taught him sooooo much in that short time.

We hope to return to Lexington next year for Pony Finals. It was one of the greatest weeks ever!!

Thank you for mentioning all of my unselfish acts of kindness, my knowledge, and use of my facility, etc... over many years.... in helping your child to achieve his goals. How soon we forget.

dear mrs robertson,
i am a fourteen year old who lives in massachusetts. My history teacher has given me a project which i have to contact another 14 year old from another state. Unfortunatly, i dont know any other 14 year olds in an other state than me. I have read about Jacob in an equestrian magazine (i also ride horses and jump them) and he was the person who came to mind for my project. For my history projct, i need him to send a postcard that represents where he lives and telling me what he is learning in history class. If you are willing to help me out, please e mail me at pintopony14@yahoo.com
Thanks,
sincerely,
Sandra Sarkisian
